How much does trademark registration cost?
The application fee is HK$2,000, but there could be an additional HK$1,000 charged for an additional class of goods or services.
Is a Hong Kong trademark valid in mainland China?
No. A trademark in Hong Kong doesn’t hold any legality in mainland China per se.
How long does it take for trademark registration to be processed?
If there are no problems with the application, the Registrar will usually take a minimum of six months to approve the application.
